New ‘Fix A Problem’ Support Feature For Google Places

In the past it has not been the easiest of tasks to try and get answers to questions and sort out problems regarding Google Places listings from Google themselves.

New Google Places Help Feature

Hopefully things are about to change folllowing Googles announcement earlier this month that it has added a new section called ‘Fix A Problem’ to the Google Places Help Center homepage.

Click the problem that applies to you and they will walk you through some questions to help you get to the bottom of your problem, give you tips to help resolve any issues you are experiencing and if you still need additional help you can fill out a contact form, hit submit and someone from their team will get back to you.

It will be interesting to see how this works in practice but hopefully Google Places support issues are moving in the right direction.

Hi, my name is Mark and I’m the owner of SEO Manchester.

I started in SEO in 2009 and have gradually built up my business solely from organic traffic generated via high search engine rankings (mainly Google).

I love building highly optimised WordPress websites and optimising Google Places listings. I am also constantly building on my knowledge of the uses of all forms of social media for marketing effectiveness, particularly Google+.

When not helping clients improve their online presence I enjoy walking the dog around the hills where we live, reading, real ale and (surprise) spending more time on the web.
