It has taken the man 18 months to get it removed by Google during which time he estimates he has lost 80% of his local business.
The moral of the story is to put in place an online reputation management strategy and make sure that you strive to get positive customer reviews regularly to far outweigh any negative comments and to use the review response facility where available.
