Spoke too soon. Back at No.1 this morning!

It just shows that search engine optimisation is such a fickle business.
Thought I’d just have a quick look to see where I was on Google this morning and it’s back at the number 1 spot.

Well I managed to hang on to the No.1 spot for just over a week.
I’m sure that my presence has spurred many of the companies below me into action. I dropped down to the No.4 spot earlier today but I’m back at No.3 as I make this post.
My initial aim was simply to try and get on the first page of Google for the search term SEO Manchester. To reach the number 2 spot was very pleasing but to actually surpass every other SEO company vying for that term and reach the No.1 spot on two occasions was fantastic!
Back At The No.1 Spot Again!

seomanchester.org reclaims the No.1 spot on Google!
I’ve just received an email this evening informing me that my SEO Manchester site has hit the number one spot again.
It’s taken a couple of months to reclaim it from i-com.net. Let’s see how long I can hang on to it this time!

Oh Well! It was good whilst it lasted.
i-com.net has recovered it’s No.1 spot. No surprise really. I was amazed that I’d managed to beat them to that position as they are obviously a very capable company. I’ll keep snapping at thier heels though and see if I can do it again!

My SEO Manchester Site Is Now Top Of The Pile!!!!!
Well, what do you know? My little SEO Manchester website has surpassed even i-com.net and hit the No.1 spot on Google!!
That’s one in the eye for all those people who were only too keen to email me their wisdom, question the point of my site and predict that it would soon drop into oblivion. It was however nice to receive one positive comment yesterday which also alerted me to the fact that I’d got the number one spot.
I put this site up on January 16th, 2009. After five days it hit position No.11 and then dropped to 32nd place by day eight. It bounced back to number 13 by day eleven and then for the next couple of months it hovered around positions 6 to 13. By early June it had clawed its way up to No.2 and maintained that position for a good 6 weeks.
Now it sits at No.1 and we’ll see if it can maintain that spot.
