Oh Well! It was good whilst it lasted.
i-com.net has recovered it’s No.1 spot. No surprise really. I was amazed that I’d managed to beat them to that position as they are obviously a very capable company. I’ll keep snapping at thier heels though and see if I can do it again!

My SEO Manchester Site Is Now Top Of The Pile!!!!!
Well, what do you know? My little SEO Manchester website has surpassed even i-com.net and hit the No.1 spot on Google!!
That’s one in the eye for all those people who were only too keen to email me their wisdom, question the point of my site and predict that it would soon drop into oblivion. It was however nice to receive one positive comment yesterday which also alerted me to the fact that I’d got the number one spot.
I put this site up on January 16th, 2009. After five days it hit position No.11 and then dropped to 32nd place by day eight. It bounced back to number 13 by day eleven and then for the next couple of months it hovered around positions 6 to 13. By early June it had clawed its way up to No.2 and maintained that position for a good 6 weeks.
Now it sits at No.1 and we’ll see if it can maintain that spot.

My SEO Manchester Site Settles At No. 2!
My last post was on March 8th and since then I’ve watched this sites position on Google steadily rise and finally settle at the No. 2 spot on the first page for the search term ‘SEO Manchester.’
It just goes to show that by simply using fundamental SEO techniques it is possible to get a site to rank highly.
Just makes me wonder what all the other so-called SEO gurus and experts in Manchester are doing who are languishing behind me?
SEO Manchester finds its position.
Mar 8th
SEO Manchester settles at number 12.
After deciding to leave this SEO Manchester site untouched for a week I’ve just checked and it is still at number 12 so it’s is definitely here to stay now on page 2.
As long as I keep adding the odd post and content update it should only improve over time.
SEO Manchester settles around number 13.
Feb 27th
If I leave this SEO Manchester site for a few days without any addition of content or other SEO improvements it drops off page one but seems to settle around position 13.
I know my mission was to get on page 1, which I’ve done on a few occassions, but I think that unless I give it attention every day I’m just going to have to accept that page 2 will have to do for the time being. I’m confident that over time and just gradual SEO enhancements it could become a permanent fixture on page 1.
