No Change For SEO Manchester
Dec 20th
My SEO Manchester site remains in No.1 Spot
It’s over 6 weeks since my last post and my seomanchester.org.uk site has remained at number 1 for the duration.
A lot has been happening over this period and I’ll expand on that in a new post.
Stuck at the No.1 spot for over 2 weeks now!

Whereas my www.seomanchester.org.uk site has only managed to stay at the number one spot for a day or two on previous occassions it has now remained there since 16th October.
The companies below me have been swopping and changing so it would seem that they are actively trying to better their own positions.
I’ve also started to receive some very interesting propositions as a direct result of this site which has been a total but very nice surprise.

SEO Manchester Gets To Page 1
It’s 8.05am on Sunday, 1st February and I’ve just checked Google to see how this site was doing.
As usual I immediately clicked on the 2nd page to see if I was still around 13/14th position and couldn’t see my site. I clicked on page 3. Nothing there either. I thought Google had perhaps banished me to the wilderness for a while again.
Then I thought! Could I have made it already?
Lo and behold, I look on page 1 of Google for the search term SEO Manchester and I’m at number 9! I started this site on 16th January and only 16 days later I’ve made it onto the first page. Not bad for a novice!
The site has also reached number 9 for a worldwide Google search for the search term SEO Manchester against 1,410,000 results.
It just goes to show that SEO is not rocket science. By following some basic principles it really is posible to get a high ranking for your web site even when you are competing against some tough opposition.

SEO Manchester
There is one sole aim of this site.
To get on the first page of Google for the search term keyword ‘SEO Manchester.’
I have a number of reasons for this, which I don’t need to go into now, but it will be an interesting exercise to see if I can rank highly in a market where every single competitor should be aiming for the number 1 spot, shouldn’t they?
I mean, if you’re a company in Manchester specialising in SEO and you’re any good at your job then you’d at least be on the first page of Google wouldn’t you? Why would anyone want to employ a SEO company who’s languishing on page 10+ of Google (probably3+ really)?
I don’t think I’d even bother trying to attract business if I can’t even rank highly for the keyword that I’m supposed to be good at.
Anyway, let’s see what happens.
